I greatly enjoy the variety of individuals I meet across all backgrounds and age ranges with concerns ranging from back pain to jaw symptoms to vertigo and balance challenges. In addition to my role in educating my patients on a daily basis, I have recently had opportunities to present educational sessions at State and National Rehab Conferences as well as Universities. One of my other natural passions which led me into this career was my enjoyment of teaching. More recently I started our location in East Marietta in late 2017 and am opening another new clinic within the company in the Woodstock/Roswell Market at the end of July 2018. Working with the company has allowed me the tremendous opportunity for growth including completion of the post-doctoral residency and subsequent Board-Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. After completing Undergraduate studies in Sports Medicine at the University of Georgia and the Doctorate of Physical Therapy at The University of North Georgia my wife and I moved to Woodstock where I began my career with BenchMark Physical Therapy. I have lived in Georgia the majority of my life, so choosing to stay local to practice and give back to the area was a natural choice. I am always proud of these choices when I consider how the amount of time I get to spend with my patients is so much greater than is common in many realms of the medical field. Unlike some Healthcare providers, I didn’t have one isolated “Aha” moment which leads me to pursue the field but rather learned as I pursued educational and work experiences that the profession of Physical Therapy was a good fit for me since I feel it is the idea combination of problem-solving and personal interaction. So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
